Personal Summary

I pride myself on hard work and attention to detail. Working with others and working alone do not phase me, being adaptable is what makes any event successful.

Work Experience

Box Truck Driver/Load in and load out crew
Aug 2020 - Mar 2021 Twisted Mics

This is a rental house that gets a large amount of its contracts from the wedding industry. My job is to keep track of inventory of all company gear and make sure each piece of equipment is sent out to the correct event. I also drive the company cargo van and 20 foot box truck, always to different places around the Midwest. I have to set up the event which includes uplights, subwoofers and speakers on stands, assembling trusses for light fixtures, and then testing all equipment for it to be 100 percent in working order before the DJ and clients arrive. At the end of the event I strike all gear to be brought back from the shop. The next day I will go through gear inventory again and make any repairs or modifications that must be made.

Audio Tech/Stage crew
May 2018 - Mar 2020 Al Larson Prairie Center

This was a part time local government position. I worked on load ins and load outs as well as general stagehand work on musicals, dance recitals, concerts, lectures, and other events that were rented out at the theater. Heavy lifting was required. In partnership with the Schaumburg Township Library I ran the front of house and monitors for their summer concert series on the Midas XR18 via iPad which featured local and national touring acts. I also mixed shows as the lead audio engineer on the Yamaha M7CL and Allen & Heath DLive 3000 consoles when the head technician was out at the 400 capacity theater. I assisted the shop manager building sets and props for shows using table saws, jigsaws, nail guns, cordless drills, and other hand tools.

Audio Tech
Apr 2017 - May 2018 Sound Investment AV

My first full time job, I was lead and second lead on an audio crew that worked on Yamaha QL1/QL5, Midas 32R, and Midas Verona consoles. My company paid me to be trained on using the L'Acoustics network manager. I was responsible to lead between 2-15 stagehands on site to build lighting rigs, audio setups, and video villages. The events ranged from weddings to galas, music events to speeches, and other special events.
