I have created 4 years of auctions from inception to closing out the sale. I am highly skilled in Auctionflex, and have posted numerous sales to Live Auctioneers, Invaluable, Bidsquare, and I regularly use Toteboard. I have phone bid for clients and trained phone bidders, called sales as an auctioneer, and consistently clerked 8-9 hour sales without error. I have a great deal of experience cataloging fine art as well as 2 Master's degrees in Art History and Arts Management.
I began at Oakridge in the position of Receptionist, in January 2017 I was promoted to Office Manager, in March of 2017 I was promoted to Auction Manager, and in March of 2018 I was promoted to Auction Specialist. I handle six and seven-figure sales transactions and interact extensively with the public, both bidders and consignors. I write press materials, interpret directives from upper management, delegate tasks and responsibilities, co-ordinate long-range planning and project management, and update and maintain the database, including importing and exporting records into Excel and various online platforms. I catalog incoming items and perform research tasks in order to create thorough item records including detailed descriptions and condition reports. I assumed HR responsibilities in 2017, at that time I began tracking timeclocks and coordinating all aspects of hiring, from scheduling to interviews to on-boarding and maintaining employee confidentiality agreements.
