Attending and graduating auctioneer school was one of the most gratifying endeavors I've ever engaged in,
My public-speaking career began in 1974 as an announcer at horse shows then rodeos. That led to me seeking an auctioneer school as I truly love entertaining large groups with my sense of humor and on-stage presence.
After auction school, my first events were bake sales and pancake breakfasts. ( We all gotta start somewhere, huh?)
I gained experience working at farm and estate sales as well as livestock auctions.
In 1986, I attended a seminar on benefit auctions with Dick and Sharon Friel in Seattle and was hooked on serving worthy causes.
Outdoor and conservation groups are a favorite as well as youth groups.
My career has been extremely gratifying and I've met some wonderful people and celebrities along the way.
I look forward to many, many more
